Amasaman Gets Court Complex

His Lordship the Chief Justice, Justice Anin Yeboah has inaugurated a court complex at Amasaman in the Ga West Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

The Complex comprises a High Court and a Circuit Court, all of which have offices for the Registrar, Recorder, Cashier, Bailiff, a Docket Section and washrooms for male and female staff and court users.

The Chief Justice, His Lordship Justice Anin Yeboah, has implored Circuit Court Judges and Magistrates to leave an indelible mark in their career, considering the critical role they play in the country, whiles justifying the confidence reposed in them by their elevation with devotion and equanimity.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, has sworn-in six new Justices of the Court of Appeal at the Jubilee House in Accra. 

They are Justices George Koomson, Edward Amoako Asante, Novisi Afua Aryene, Eric Baah, Richard Adjei-Frimpong and Cynthia Pamela Akotoaa Addo.

The Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSAG) has presented musical instruments worth over Ten Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵ 10, 000) to the Service’s Choir to support their singing ministry.

The Chief Justice, His Lordship Justice Anin Yeboah, has charged Executives of the Senior Staff Association of Judicial Service of Ghana (SSAJUG) to live and breathe their values of Respect, Probity and Accountability and not just mouth them as slogans.

His Lordship the Chief Justice, Justice Anin Yeboah, has pledged his commitment to finding a lasting solution to the challenges plaguing legal education in Ghana.

Four distinguished Ghanaians, made up of two Justices of the Court of Appeal – His Lordships Clemence Jackson Honyenuga and Issifu Omoro Tanko Amadu, an Academic Professor, Mrs. Henrietta J.A.N Mensa-Bonsu and a Private Legal Practitioner, Mr. Emmanuel Yonny Kulendi, have been sworn into office as Justices of the Supreme Court by the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The Judicial Service of Ghana has received Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other items from the Ghana Office of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to support child-friendly Courts that handle gender-based violence cases.
