The Acting Chief Justice of Ghana, His Lordship Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie has challenged new Lawyers to resist the temptation of ‘cutting corners’ to get rich quick, but rather let their call to service and sacrifice guide them to stand for the voiceless, noting, that when every other actor fails the nation, the Lawyer must be the one to stand upright to restore hope.
A Ghanaian Court of Appeal Court Judge, His Lordship Justice Edward Amoako Asante, who is also the immediate past President of the ECOWAS Court of Justice, has been elected to the prestigious Advisory Committee of the United Nations Human Rights Council, an 18-member think-thank for the Council.
