The Chief Justice, His Lordship Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, has urged the public to embrace the Court-Connected Alternative Dispute Resolution (CCADR) system, describing it as “a cornerstone of justice delivery” and one of the most effective tools for reducing delays and enhancing access to justice—especially for the poor and vulnerable who may not have the resources for lengthy litigation.

A Justice of the Court of Appeal and Judge with Oversight Responsibility for the Court-Connected Alternative Dispute Resolution (CCADR) programme, Her Ladyship Justice Angelina Mensah-Homiah, has called for the operationalization of ADR Centres across the country.

The Chief Justice, His Lordship Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, on November 18, 2025, received Dr. Johnson Pandit Asiama, Governor, Bank of Ghana, and his delegation who paid a courtesy call on him to discuss matters of mutual interest.

President John Dramani Mahama, has stated that “…a judiciary that learns is a judiciary that leads”.  He made this statement to buttress the growing need for continuous learning to bridge the gaps in knowledge and understanding of evolving legal fields in cyber, environment, ocean and commerce.

His Lordship Justice Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, was on November 17, 2025, sworn in as Chief Justice of the Republic of Ghana, by President John Dramani Mahama, at the seat of government in Accra. It followed his successful parliamentary approval on November 13, 2025.
