Briefing the EIB team, Justice Adjei-Frimpong noted that the 150th-anniversary milestone is a testament to the unique resilience of the apex court, which has survived various constitutional eras to remain the ultimate anchor of Ghana’s democracy and human rights.

Justice Adjei-Frimpong explained that the extensive line-up of anniversary activities including public lectures, legal outreach programmes, and moot court competition is designed to demystify the apex court, project its vision into the future, and align Ghanaian jurisprudence with international best practices.

In a response, The CEO of EIB Network commended the Supreme Court at 150 Planning Committee for its forward-thinking approach to civic engagement and extended congratulations on anchoring such a historic milestone. He pledged the full weight of EIB Network’s extensive media portfolio comprising seven radio stations and two television networks nationwide to amplify the committee’s work.

The EIB CEO also advocated for structural collaboration beyond the anniversary, requesting targeted legal training programmes from the Judicial Service to equip EIB’s court reporters with deeper insights into legal reporting. He indicated that EIB’s team would immediately begin working with the Committee’s Communications team to commence work by the following week.
