MAIDEN SESSION OF THE JUDICIAL SERVICE MENTORING PROGRAMME]

The objective is to encourage the youth to be interested in the judiciary,
the administration of justice and the legal profession in general.
It is also aimed at especially attracting and preparing the youth to
take up appointments to the Bench.
The strategy involves the invitation of groups of student representatives
from selected schools across the country, each legal term, to participate
in an intensive tour of the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal, some
High Courts and selected Circuit and Districts Courts in Accra.
In furtherance of this objective the first batch of students from the
three northern regions of Ghana visited the supreme court to take part
in this session.
